Can i keep a netherland dwarf rabbit in a 20 gallon tank?

can i use the tank or i cant at all i have to use a cage thxs
Someone should report you to animal control.
No, you cannot keep a rabbit in a tank. First of all, a tank that size is nowhere near large enough. Secondly, there's inadequate ventilation, and the fumes from their urine will build up and can cause respiratory damage. And finally, the tank will be too short. With no top, they'll hop right out, and with a top, it won't be tall enough for them to stand up on their hind legs in.

I would not keep a single Netherland Dwarf in anything smaller than 36 "by 24", and bigger is always better.
Only as a temporary place in an emergency. There's not enough ventilation. Rabbit urine does give off ammonia fumes, which smell bad and aren't good for the rabbit's respiratory system.

I have lots of rabbit care info and pics on my website.
NO! It is both too small and too poorly ventilated. You need a cage with wire, bar or mesh sides to get proper air circulation.

I hope the 36 st foot suggestion was a typo because it is about 10 times larger than you actually need for a dwarf!
No.

Netherland Dwarf Rabbits are very active and need 36 square foot of roaming room 24/7, they should at no times be shut up in a cage anyway. A 20g glass tank could cause them injury as they try to get out of it, and respiratory problems too!
no that is to small! i have a mouse in a 20 gallon tank. and they do not need 36 feet of room either .... a 2 'by 3' cage should be just fine.
Yes, kinda small though and it will probably jump out the top but yes, you could do it.
