What does it mean when my ferrets wag their tails?
I have two female ferrets they are about 11 weeks old now and have not been out and played with my other animals yet
I have a schnoodle
A year old cat and her two 10 week old kittens and I have introduced them through a cage and my kittens and cat are nervous around the cage and tend to hiss at them but my ferrets wag their tails and whenever my dog is next to the cage they wag their tails aswell but I'm nervous about letting the ferrets play because my ferrets are still biting alot and they bite really hard I just really need some help what should I do?
answer:
They wag their tails when they are very excited about something. Ferrets do bite really hard, especially as babies. I would not let them play with the cat as a cat bite can be deadly. When they are older and calmer, they may be ok around the dog if your dogs is gentle and has no tendencies to try to hurt little animals. Still, it is always a risk to expose the ferrets to another species. A ferret can kill a kitten!
