I already have a dog, and he's a dachshund and beagle mix.. Small and very playful. :) But he's the family pet and I want something of my own. No hamsters or gerbils or anything like that, I've had enough of those. And I already have a fish. Any ideas? I want something that will stay small and I can play with. :) Thanks! Cats make great pets.

What about a rabbit or a ferret? Those are nice and can be good pets.
