I'm considering buying a filly - how much should I offer?
If she's a half-arabian-half-paint (mediocre to less than mediocre bloodlines), 9 months (weaned), slightly underweight, able to be but not registered, pinto coloring, one blue eye, pretty much only grass-fed, owners own both the sire and broodmare, and they don't have a coggins test on any of the horses.

How much is fair? She would be going to an excellent home. The ad said $500 ot best offer. I would pay at least $100 in gas if I bought her on first visit.
shes not registerd
underweight
no coggins test (mostlikey no vet check)
& its wintertime so horses sell for less

$200 at the most. i can get a filly thats the same age with coggins tests & has weight on her for 300
where im located
yes why not

thats about what I pay for good foals

all you are going to do is improve her so if at least on resale you will sell her for more

really depends on what you have in plan for the future of this filly is really your overall outcome.

the price of the filly should be the same price as the service fee of the stallion I think thats a fair price

good luck
