How to entertain a self injuring bunny?
I have a Nether-land dwarf rabbit that pulls out his fur. He does not have mites. He does this out of boredom. I have tried several things like toilet paper rolls, towels, chewing blocks, baby toys, golf balls, and freedom. None of these seem to keep him happy so that he stops pulling out his fur. I am out of ideas! Can anyone suggest something else that might make him happier??
answer: I agree with oregano. Get him neutered if he is not already and get him a buddy.
My rabbits love paper on the floor. Like huge sheets of paper or newspaper. One of my rabbits will dig in it and rip it.

You can use childrens play sand, dirt with nothing added like fertilizers, shredded paper and leaves.

Tunnels. You can get these cardboard tunnels at home depot for around $7. I also got a crinkle tunnel in the cat section at walmart than the bunnies love. I also got some cubes in the cat section at walmart for like $5 each. Minnie loves them.
You can make a maze. The maze I have is simple but the rabbits love it. You can get creative and make a better maze.
