How to convince my mom for a Russian tortoise?

Okay so I really want a Russian tortoise and my mom doesn't want another pet (we already have two dogs). So how can I convince her ? What would be the benefit of adding a tortoise to our already large family (2 dogs a baby a 6 year old and me btw I'm 14)
