i just got a 8 month old male hedgehog. i currently use carefresh bedding, and i notice he kinda likes to burrow in his bedding. i also have a hamster and give him this like soft cotton nesting material, that he takes and puts in his igloo to burrow in. i know they are very different, but i was wondering if i could give the hedgehog something like that? so he can nest? or just some extra bedding. thanks!

well my family saves allot of money on bedding (since bedding cost so friken much) we looked on a site that said that you can use shredded paper from like a Shredder as bedding i use it on my hamster all the time and he loves it i also have used it on a rat,mouse and gerbil (as my past caged pets) :)

i give my hedgehog old shirts that i wore for awhile to get my sent on them and put it in his house with care fresh and he loves to hide in it :)
