1. Anything meat/ meat based. Ferrets are strict carnivores and anything not meat based can and will kill them.
2. No one can really tell you that. It depends on the individual ferrets. They almost always fight at first, but just let them fight it out so that they can establish their dominance, then they'll usually be friends for life.
3. By taking care of them. As long as you feed a high quality diet, clean the litter box daily, and wash the bedding weekly, you won't find yourself with a smell issue.
4. At least 3-4 hours a day minimum
5. High Quality Food, a high quality cage, grooming supplies, treats, toys, litter box/litter, and tons and tons of blankets and beds to sleep in.
6. They sleep about 18-20 hours, give or take. I have one that I swear doesn't sleep. She's always up and about!

8. They bite as babies to play and test you, and since ferrets have thicker skin than us, they bite hard to us when it's just a nibble to them. As long as you let them know you don't like it, they'll stop. Mine still bite now to play but it's gentle because they know my limits.
9. Yes, someone will probably get hurt. Dogs can get excited and sometimes can step on them by accident, and cats can get scared. Ferrets can also hurt THEM. I have a ferret who will attack my cat, and I have to come and rescue the poor kitty.
10. They are carnivores, and can eat anything. They can and definitely would kill rodents and rabbits, because even if they aren't fed whole prey, they will play with the animal and kill it by accident. They probably wouldn't kill a snake, but if you had snake meat and gave it to a raw eating ferret they'd probably eat it. One of mine loves dehydrated alligator treats.

11. Whenever they miss the box, put the poop in the box and wipe where they missed really well with vinegar to cover up the smell. As long as you keep that up, they'll figure it out.

1. Names, I'm no good at that lol! My current are named Tootsie, Jasper, and Percival if that helps any.
2. Boy or girl is up to you and what you want. My girls have been more uptight and energetic than my boys who have been laid back and lazier, but that's not always the case.
3. Umm I have a TON of sites!!
