i would also like a nice litlle bunny that dosent grow too big, i live in an apartment i want tips, not people telling me what to do just answer the questions please and how to convince my mom thankyou so much for not hating
I have been asking my mom and dad since I was 4. I got one when I think I was ... 7 years when I got one. Sorry hard to remember: (Anyway, get a dwarf bunny. They grow fast but stay tiny . Plus they live long because my rabbit has been living for 3 years which is pretty long for bunny years. Try to get responsible by caring for a neighbours pet. Or you can go on a laptop, read books and get info on all on rabbits . If you have enough money ur good to go. They only smell if you don't clean their cage for a long time. They poop alot too so make sure you have a broom to clean it all up. Give them a half of a room for them and put a gate in front of it. I know this sounds cruel but my rabbit got into trouble without the barrier up. Make sure to get metal because they can chew through baby gates easily. Tell your mom all this and go on www.Petco.com/or www.Petsmart.com/to see supplies. Look for local petstores in your area for adoption too. Hope I helped and Good luck:)
Hey, I can help you here!!
pets question and answers,www.5d2d.com First, tell your mom that rabbits are quiet, friendly, and dont require constant attention.
If you buy a small cage with a dropping pan under it, you can fill the pan with odor blocking kitty litter. And viola! No smell!!
also, buy a smaller rabbit. I suggest a holland lop (in my profile pic) they dont eat much. If you are near a farm store, buy a 40 lb. bag of feed. It will cost about $ 8 - $ 10. It will last for 2 months or so.
if you do buy a rabbit, talk in person to a vet, or breeder for everything you will need.
hope i helped!
bunnies are amazing little critters. they are easily litter box trained as well. they dont require attention all the time like most animals, just water food a few toys and its good to go. my bunnies toy of choice is a sock, he will toss it up and all. explain to her they are very inexpensive, and low maintance, so it is a good starter pet.
First off you must understand that your parents are the one paying the bills. And it cost a lot of money to own and raise animals today. And they smell if not taken care of properly. And all of us that are parents know how kids tend to say tell them I am responsible and I will take care of it and mom and dad gets some cute little furry pet and 6 months down the road the teen forgets the fur ball of a animal it there and mom and dad is stuck taking care of it ..

So wait till you are out of school, and have a job and a place of your own and then get your bunny.
