2 weeks ago I was walking my dog around the block and he found a garden glove he was playing with it I told him to give the man back his glove so he can do his work he was going to give it back but the man used a rake to get his glove from my dog and my dog became upset and bit the rake is that considerd prevoking a dog bite?
That's animal cruelty .. he shouldn't hit your dog like that, if I we're you I already kick his *** for doing that .. i don't care how big he is or how small he is
You don't give enough information about the incident. You say you "told the dog to give it back ". I'm sorry, dogs can be pretty smart but talking to a dog like its a little kid who will shuffle his feet and do as he is told is just plain stupid. It is an animal and had no idea what you meant . You never say if you tried to take the glove away. I am assuming this is either because you were too lazy to, or you tried and the dog growled and you did not want people to know this, or you are to afraid of your dog to do anything. Before you take your dog in public again consider how his behavior effects everyone else and decide whether or not you can be bothered to properly train the dog before he hurts someone. If you can't either put down the dog or find him a more caring home.
You shouldn't have been careless enough to let your dog take a glove away from someone in the first place. If I was that guy, and saw how little control you had over your dog, I wouldn't have wanted to risk taking it away from him with my hands either. Especially after the dog bit the rake.
The man shouldn't of done anything to the dog he could of cause injury then he would b charged for animal abuse and have to pay we fees needed, it can be conceded provoking a dog bite as an animal nor human would accept someone doin that to them, dogs will be dogs people gota understand and be friendly
