Im Getting a bunny but want the smallest one possible to me what type of bunny?
Netherland Dwarves and Polish are a bit smaller than Mini/Dwarf Lop rabbits. But I would recommend going with a Lop if you haven't had a bunny before. Nethies/Polish can be very skittish and are VERY active.
Remember all bunnies need a lot of space! Even if they're small! A small/medium sized bunny needs 36 square foot of hopping space 24/7 minimum.
Mini Lops, despite their name, are quite large. The smallest of the lop breed is the Holland Lop. If you want something small, smaller than the Holland Lop, then I would recommend a netherland dwarf or a mini-rex. From personal experience, the Holland Lop is the best choice - they do stay small , though not as small as the others I mentioned, and they have wonderful personalities. They are sweet and affectionate. The smaller rabbits, the netherland dwarf and the mini-rex, can be kind of neurotic, though many really enjoy them, I don 't.
Theres severl small breeds of rabbits, but the polish/Britannia Petite is the smallest, but they often dont make good first time pets. They tend to be high-strong

Holland Lops are slighly bigger, but they make wonderful pets!
Mini Lops are bigger then holland lops
And of course mini rexs are GREAT pets, plus they are very soft:)
Theres also:
Dutch
Netherland Dwarf
American Fuzzy Lop
The Netherland dwarf rabbit is the smallest pet breed to my knowledge.
I had one and he was tiny. I could fit him into a shoe box easy. That's how small he was. (He was in the shoe box when I was taking him to the vets to have his body destroyed)
And the mini lop is the smallest breed of lop rabbit.

a polish is the smallest know breed but they are very fistey and when in shows you always see them jumping around the place trying to bite everything. the second smallest is the netherland dwarf which is readaly avaliable but you have to make sure its ears are tiny (about 3 -4cm) at 7-12 weeks old otherwise you will end up with a huge netherland dwarf that weight more than a mini lop
nooopppe!

Holland lops are a smaller breed of lops. But i would still suggest going with a mini lop because they only get to be about 4 pounds, and i love them. (Holland lops are about 3 pounds)
I raise and show mini lops
Remember, small rabbits are very active so unless compared to a very large rabbits, space should be the same. I personally think Polish are very cute-I kind of have ethical problems with the Netherland Dwarf ( as in purposely breeding pups who will die).
Mini lop rabbits are the smallest rabbit so yes.Dwarf rabbits are actually bigger than a mini lop.A mini lop weighs 1.5 kg and a dwarf rabbit weighs 2.5 + (approx.) .
Hope This helped:)
Mini lops are small but not the smallest out there, mini lops weigh between 6 to 8 pounds. Netherland Dwarfs are smallest weighing between 1 1/2 to 2 pounds
The small breed if got from a good breeder is a Netherland dwarf but the small lop earred breeds are tied between the Holland lop and the American fuzzy lop.
A Netherland Dwarf is smaller than a mini lop. The lops have long floppy ears and the netherland has small pointy ears.
yes i'm pretty sure that that's the smallest type of bunny there is=)
