Yes, I get mice into my house EVERY fall when it gets colder, and EVERY spring when new ones leave the nest and need a place to go where they smell easy food and shelter .
pets question and answers,www.5d2d.com They get in usually under the deck in little holes that go into the basement. Othewise they burrow through tiny openings in the garage walls and end up climbing into the main floor of the house. From there, well, they don't always leave as happily as they arrived.
I get them because I live next to a water tower compound with lots of trees, and backing on to a golf course. Both of those places have lots of mice, and it's just expected that they will eventually find a way in. I wouldn ' t be embarassed, it happens to a lot of people and it's just part of home ownership.
If you want to get rid of them, basic traps beside the fridge or along walls in the kitchen set with peanut butter seem to do best. Use live traps if you want to release them alive elsewhere, and avoid glue traps in general because of the unnecessary cruelty. It's sad, but effective to use basic traps. Hopefully this puts your mind at ease, and gives you an idea how to deal with them. Regards,
Yes I do and I assume you do too since its not embarrassing not to have them .....
