my rabbit is about 4 month old now, and she's over night she gained two black stripes on her sides and then last night she gained one going across her face. i know this sounds really weird but its true!:)

if it is then it could be because its winter
my bunnies hair changes color during winter and summer how old is your bunny and how long have you had him/her?
it might just be its winter coat since you haven't had it for every season it might just be that its coat is changing for winter! that happens to my bunny.

Your rabbit is about the age that the makings should start to show but shold have shown at a younger age. Though i am going off of the disciption you gave and not a pic you should look at ARBA to be shoure of the breed. I am not fomiler with this kind of rabbit but in general I am with rabbits.
