what makes a better pet a female or male ferret?

I have two males and 4 females.

2 of the females are spayed, and one of the males is neutered.

Starting with the spayed females, they are still just as hyperactive.

The neutered male is more calm and relaxed and happy to have a cuddle.

The unspayed ones are hyperactive too, just like the spayed ones.

The unneutered male is hyperactive and a little nippy.

Overall I say a neutered male is more hand tame and relaxed, and females are more play and fun.

Both great in their own ways.
I have 2 female ferrets and a male ferret. The only difference is the male, Rikku, is bigger and eats more. Temperament wise they are the same.
Females are smaller and have less of the musky odor, but they're pretty similar otherwise.
