ok so this very second that im asking this my pregnant mouse is having her babies i heard lil squeaks and i saw her licking her privates alot i rased her house and sw a baby and as soon as i did i turned off the lights and my tv and i was so freaked out i dont want her to canabalize them so i could sit there in the dark in my room so i just came dwon staris to watch tv for the night and ask this but what do i do i htought i was prepared but i guess at the moment you really arent i want the babies to be well what do i do i know i should keep the noise down but do i keep the lights out also does my room need to be the quiet place on earth and is it ok to come in to feed her and change her water is that fine help me im freaking out i want alot of healthy pups thanks god bless
if your mouse is used to lights and noise, i don't think it will stress her out . Perhaps keep the volume down a bit, and don't switch on every light in the room, but you said she was in her mouse house, where it is dark and warm, and she would feel very safe and secure there. i would leave her to have the pups and then rest for a few hours before i bothered her, she will make sure the pups are not on the damp bedding.
Treat the momma mouse the same as before wrt feeding and water and cleaning her space . Momma will take care of the babies, let her do her thing and you do your normal things-turn on your lights, play some music ...:-)
