i was trying to take my horse in this morning as i had the farrier coming and she was very lame on her front right leg she was very sore and wasnt wanting to walk far.
the farrier has looked at the leg and foot she has a swollen bit like a ball wen you feel it just up from her fet lock on the inside on her leg. and she finds it sore when i touch it, the farrier couldnt find any weak cracks or signs of an abcess.
does anyone have any ideas what this could be?

It could be either. Call the vet immediately, when it comes to horses health, and especially their legs it's always best to be on the safe side.
