Ok so I decided that i was going to get a horse that my little cousins could ride around. The youngest one is 3 years old. I want something that is good with small children and that isn't to big. I really don't know much about this, im more about Clydesdales. can someone help me out and give me some info? my eldest cousin is 13 so i cant have something to small either.

Based solely on the info here, it sounds to me like you aren't an experienced enough family to be getting a horse. This is not the first time I've said this and it DEFINITELY won't be the last: you can not choose what animals to look for based only on the breed. Some breeds tend to have a few of the same traits, but you can't generalize that all animals of the same breed are going to act the same, or even similar. I don 't know exactly that this is what you were asking, but based on the other answers, it's what I will assume.
If you are honestly serious about getting a horse, and being a responsible owner, than kudos to you, but I'm not going to tell you the breed of horse to get, because it's not the breed that determines the animal, but it's how it is raised. I would say that if you are looking for a good kids horse, for inexperienced kids, to look for one that is older, perhaps even 20 + years old. That being said, you want one in good health, so you might want to get a vet check before purchasing. Overall though, the most important thing, is that you want to get as bombproof of a horse as possible, and you want to just look at it's overall disposition.
pets question and answers,www.5d2d.com PS The best horses I've ever had, were grades and crosses.
Edit-
Well, like I said the horses that I've had the best time with have mostly been grade or crosses. I've also had pretty great experiences with QH's, and I think that POA's make wonderful teachers with the right training.
I hope I helped:)
