My family is moving to Oregon from Arizona to be near me, what do they need to transfer the two buggers into the state?
There is nothing required in terms of quarantine in any state. They will be confiscated if you go through California because they are illegal there and could even be destroyed. Please check out the American Ferret Association list through the below link for where ferrets are legal and any special requirements:
http://www.ferret.org/pdfs/general/2009- ... this list of where ferrets are legal, etc is current to 2009,
there is additional information on the website for the afa about all sortd of things.
Since the travel will be by car, be aware that ferrets can get heat stroke far easier than a cat or dog, so you will really want to make sure they do not get over heated. If I can be of any help to you please let me know.

I hope this helps
Your family will need to pick a route that avoids California. Since ferrets are illegal in California, any ferrets brought into that state WILL be confiscated and killed.
They will need certificates of health from a veterinarian.
A secure traveling enclosure is a must, as is the food and water that the ferrets are used to consuming. More than enough clean bedding material for the trip.
This is the minimum. Someone knowledgeable about ferrets will likely have more ideas.
Well they will HAVE to go through quarantine that's about 4 months they stay there for then they will deliver them back to you. When booking their flight they should get asked if they are going to bring any pets:)
