There may be a rescue in your area that can help you, but either way he is going to have to be seen by a vet. If he is older, he may have canc er and NEED to be put out of his pain and suffering. If so, you can usually call a shelter and they can do it for you at a nominal fee. I have had to put down so many over the years. It is a very difficult choice to make, but when they are suffering and there is no hope you will do this out of love for them.
It is important to know if this is an older or a younger ferret and what led up to this. Is the ferret acting normally or not. Is he gnashing/grinding his teeth-this is almost always an indication of pain. Depending upon the circumstances , if he is younger and acting OK you can usually call a vet and ask if they will please work with you if thwe ferret can be saved. Just be up front with them about your money situation.

If the ferret is older and cannot be saved. The cheapest place around me is the emergency vet. If I know that there is no point in continuing the suffering, I call and let them know I am coming and do not need to see a DR . I just need to let them go. It is easier for any animal for you to NOT be there when they are put down. The reason is that if you are there, they put in a catheter/IV which is very hard on your pet . THE they bring them to you and give them the medication. If you are not there, they can give them a little gas which makes them sleepy and unaware of what is being done so they are not stressed any more. It is much easier on the pet. (I included this info because you may be asked if you want to be there with your pet. Initially it may seem like you should be there, but if you think through the proccess and what is best and eaier on the animal. .....) You cannot explain to them that you are putting them through the extra trauma because you will feel better about it.
It is easier to deal with if you know up frony what is going to happen when you go in.

I know what I have written is disjointed and may not make sense. I hope some of it helps. If you call, I will try to talk you through what needs to be done, whatever you decide. Your ferret is obviously bleeding from somewhere in his intestinal tract. He cannot survive for long like this. There are no home remedies once he has gotten to this point. I am so sorry you are having to go throught this.
Take him to a rescue no-kill animal shelter , non-profit type of thing, they are usually very compassionate and will help you. It will be better than trying it yourself. I'm not saying that they can do anything, no promises, but they will probably try to help you. I volunteer at a non-profit no-kill animal rescue and no way would I or any of the other volunteers ever turn away someone with an animal in trouble. Take him somewhere, this is not something you can deal with on your own. And for gosh sakes do not block or apply pressure. It's probably not bleeding from a wound in the anus which you could use that technique for, so just don't do that or it will build up, and it wont fix a thing.
If you don't bring him to a vet he is going to die. Sorry, there's not much else to tell you other than put a heating pad on the lowest setting for him to sleep on, and blend his food in some warm water and feed him the soup to make him more comfortable.

Vets are humans, too, and most will be willing to find a way for you to be able to afford the care he needs. If a vet refuses, then bring him to all of the ones you can find in your area.
1.get a towel to stop the bleeding.
2. Still go to the vet, im sure they wont just stand there and watch your ferret die ... and (im not saying it will) but if it does die in the vetinary you can call them spineless and let them have the guilt of not being able to save a helpless animal that could have been saved.
3. Theres really nothing about home remedies that you can do to help. I mean if you didnt know what to do if a HUMAN was bleeding to death from his/her butthole, im pretty sure you wouldnt know what to do with a ferret.

btw i have to ask, was the lax red? are you sure he isnt pooping the laxative? idk what color ferret lax is.
