My rabbit developed a head tilt, i took her to the vets and paid £ 70 for injections, antibiotics to try and sort it.
Its been 2 weeks now her head is still tilted but think she only does it for attention.
When shes in her hutch she tilts her head on the side (its not her hutch she can stand on her back feet and not reach the top plus its a double hutch so its not space)
But when shes held she is fine and when she is put on the grass then her head is straight, her head is also fine when i get her inside to play.
The minute she goes in her hutch she tilts her head to the side when she knows youre around, but if i leave her then she will play and be her mischevious self.
Is it possible she is just seeking attention although she gets plenty??
PSdo not say she needs a rabbit friend as she wont get on with another rabbit, she repeatedly attacks another animal until its taken away!!
That means that your rabbit is perfectly healthy and just seeking attention from you. It's lonely, but likes to be the only one of it's kind, which means she likes human attention, but none other. Perhaps leaving a radio out there on a low volume with solve this, and if not, she just likes the lovin! My dog used to this, she lived to be 14 and she was the friendliest dog ever, and loved attentuion. everything will be finee! I promise! Stop taking her to the vet unless you see real problems, youre just wasting the money. Youre bunny will probably continue this untill she dies. This is very common actually, among younger rabbits. Hope I helped!
It could be possible, but rabbits do not have that level of intelligence. All living things needs affection and if your giving it that's not the problem. It just might be one of those things since she is healthy.
Rabbits, like any other animal, want and crave attention/affection. She probably just wants attention.
yes, why wouldn't your pet want your love and affection and attention. Plus sounds like she is telling you she likes it out of that hutch.
Lots of animals love attention. Many animals fake limp to get attention from you.
rabbits love attention i have 1 she as got her ways thy am all different manners
