In a tough spot-trying to find a new loving home for my 4 ye

So I got my rabbit about four years ago because I was going through a tough time and I guess the thought of having a constant companion was comforting. A little bit short of six months she was already a handful, but I couldn't bear giving her up. Four years have gone by now and the reasons why I kept her was solely based off of guilt and obligation.

She mostly spends all her time with me - no one in my family wants to care for her or likes her. I'm a young adult in her 20s as well and for the past four years have been unable to go on a proper vacation because I need to stay home and care for her. As well as countless other problems. It's been really difficult and I can't handle it any more.

I still care for her and love her very much. I just can't keep her. I've asked all around to see if someone would like to take her, but there is no one I know who wants a pet rabbit. I ' ve saved animal shelters or rabbit animal shelters as a last resort, because I know that it's hard to find a loving home for an older rabbit. It would also be a lot more comforting if I knew exactly who I was giving my rabbit up to. pets question and answers,www.5d2d.com

The ideal situation would be for her to go to someone who can give her all the love and attention she needs, but I've been trying to find that for years with no luck.

Does anyone have any genuine advice? I'm stuck and it's been this way for four years and I'm not sure if I can take it anymore.

One last thing, I've tried to go on a rabbits lovers website to ask around if anybody would like to take care of a new rabbit, and I'd be willing to pay for her fare but there has been zero responses.
Have you checked to see if there are any rabbit rescues in your area?

I found this list by googling there appear to be others as weel. Just google "rabbit rescues by state"

if u want him to find a good home go onto craigslist
One of the first places to try would be craigslist.org, you will have to be careful and I would post a picture and as much detail about the rabbit as possible, but not too much personal information. Where I live there are 2 pretty large rabbit rescue groups and a humane society that usually has quite a few rabbits. I think you really should try calling those kinds of groups that you have around you and telling them what your situation is. If your major issue is really just needing someone to watch the rabbit while you are on vacation that is something they might be willing to do for you, possibly in exchange for some volunteer work or a donation. I always have a hard time going on vacation, but I also always have someone come in to look in on my animals while I'm away. There are many places and people who will take in a rabbit but most places will do what they can to keep the rabbit in the home the rabbit has.
craigslist is a very good idea. make sure to get good pictures of her and post a fairly complete description. pets question and answers,www.5d2d.com

also don't offer her for free - ask for 10 dollars. one-this will keep away people wanting to eat her or something else not good. two-rabbits sold for money are generally thought to be worth more than free rabbits. you may want to put free to good home, but you will get more interest by asking a small price rather than free. than people who come to meet her are genuinely interested and if you like them, you can always say you don't want the money .
