I am left feeling guilty after my horse knocked mr over. Am

Well, I have just aquired a lovely fell pony mare, and she is soo spooky. After spending time and developing trust, I am now allowed to pick her feet, catch her and put her rug on. Now, these things I could do with an ex racer, however, with this little one, it's a big deal. I have gained so little in the three weeks, but to her it's a lot and her trust in me is so prescious. I have put her on nag magic daily supplement , and yesterday I thought it might just be working. I went up to feed her tonight, and I noticed her leg strap on her rug was loose, so I tried to clip it back. Right, there was a little rustle of the trees, perhaps it was the farmer in the next field .. Whatever, she ran and knocked me over, it hurt, and so were my feelings, so as a stupid human, I got up and shouted that she was a horrible girl. I then took her carrots that were on the floor, and dulled. After we stood there looking at each other in the feild, I thought I'm going to try free lungeing or join up, just to show her who is boss, as my thoroughbred used to bully me, as I'm too loving towards my horses. I just wanted to show her that I'm alpha. So after a few rounds, she was licking and chewing, so I let her stop. I was still really peed off, but I approached her and told her I still loved her, then gave her dinner. Sigh, I now feel racked with guilt. It's pointless telling her she was being irrational, but she hurt me. Please don't throw rocks at me, I feel terrible. What should I do? She is sooo spooky, I don't get it?! I'm desensitiseing her to things gradually? Please help.x
Horses are prey animals, their instinct is to flee first, if you happen to be in the way, oh well! Maybe if you do more research on horse behavior, your body language is telling her all about you. Horses are very sensitive so keep yourself in check.
you should feel guilty. You have no clue how to communicate and teach this horse. You should be careful so not to get seriously injured. This horse needs a lot of ground work, a basic foundation. Without it, there is no hope. NEVER EVER lose your temper with your horse. If you can't control yourself, put your horse away and walk away. Horses do not forget and your incorrect action teaches fear and encourages lack of trust which sets you back even more than where you are now. Think about it.

When you have an incident, running your horse in mindless circles is meaningless to the horse and becomes a cruelty from you because of your body language and breathing, which is interpreted by the horse as violence. This is shameful behavior. Again, you need to learn some language. No rocks, but truth. This is not about you.
