ok the male should be left in a cage separately for a few days so that it can get its testosterone up, making sure that it can smell the female still as she is in heat. The temp. has to be at a steady 75 degrees or the mating wont be successful. After a few days of being separated from the female place the male back in with her. The male should be placed steadily behind her on her back at an angle and you may have to grind them together a little to get them into good positions. The rocks should then mate on their own and in about 6-8 weeks there should be tiny pebbles in the tank.

what i did was first find out the sex of your rock.
my male was found out by its previous owner, so cant hep you there
but for the female, the rock should be slightly purple in a little area.
once you have a male and female, lets begin!
they need their hormones to enrage, so arrange a 5 star dinner for them for maxium sex drive.
make sure champagne is available! dehydration may happen and champagne is the drink of love!
when the dinner is complete bring the rocks to their nesting area. play the song sex-bomb for a little bit of help. another 1-up includes adding incense candle wax to their bedding.
with all the right steps, you'll have a pregnant rock.
it takes 10000000 years for the mother to go in labour.

actually it doesnt matter what sex ur rock is. rocks are asexual so u cant really breed them. sry
you cant breed a rock ..
