I have a few rabbits and one of them had two babies, one of them died and I don't know what to do with the other one because im not sure who the mom is. How do I figure it out who the mom is?
I don't know how the heck you'd figure that out unless you're lucky enough to see her feed it. But since rabbits only feed babies once or twice a day for about 5 minutes, it would be hard for you to be there at the right time to catch her in the act. You might spot engorged nipples or wet fur but not likely.
Rabbits shouldn't be kept in a community cage with a bunch of other rabbits, unless they're neutered and even then, it's not a good idea. Leave the baby where you found it and perhaps the mother will feed it. I don ' t hold out a lot of hope for it, though. Each doe needs her own cage and to be bred when you plan for the breeding. Then they should get a nest box to put their litter in. There's more care info on my website.
even if you do find out i would not put it back in the best way to go is to hand feed it kitten milk 3c time a day until its belly is tight
take them to jeremy kyle.
