Does anyone know of a good ferret/exotic vet near Tuscaloosa AL? We just moved from Oregon and now one of our ferrets may have some type of obstruction as he is throwing up and pooping weird. We don't want to take him to a nonspecialized vet unless there is no other option.
I don't want to scare you and you probably already know this but you need to get him seen TODAY this morning even if you have to go to emergency vet.
This may be of some help.

This is the SOS shelter list. Find a shelter in Alabama near you and see which one they use. If there is none really close, maybe you could call the closest one and see who/what they recommend.
I will also go on Ferretvillage.org and post an emergency post for this question and get back with an answer ASAP You can also go there and check the answers. It is a ferret forum. It costs nothing to join but you do not have to join to look at the answers.
