The female has been spayed and the male has been neutered. My female will bite my males ear, sometimes it looks like she trying to nurse and other times she bites so hard he starts making like a faint screaming noise, I scruff her every-time i seen her doing it but as soon as i put her down she does the same thing also she only does this when she's in the cage with him last at night, i haven't seen her doing it during the day at all. so what should i do?
Some ferrets do this out of anxiety, some because they were taken away from their mothers too early. Mine did it when they were babies, but have now grown out of it. It's nothing to worry about unless it's breaking the skin or causing irritations. A few squeaks is nothing to worry about!
There is a small chance that she could be trying to seduce him, since they are rough when they mate. But it also could just be playful ferret behavior which is most likely what she's doing. Nothing serious to worry about.:)
She does that to show how much better she is.
she does that because she is playing with most ferrets do that.
