Ferret!
They are amazing animals that will surprise you every single day; and they are extremely playful. But if you do decide to get one, please make sure you have enough time to dedicate to him/her. They need exercise (outside of cage) and attention every single day. If you have a busy schedule or if you are away from home a good bit, a ferret would not be good for you.
I would highly recommend a ferret. They're cute, cuddly (especially if you get a male), and they're fun. I cannot tell you how many times I've laughed so hard at my little Sweet Pea that tears have run down my face. Do a little research, because they're pretty demanding, but it's all worth it.
