I really want an animal, but I don't want like a hamster or a fish. I want an animal that will show affection and be a really good pet. I know cats and dogs are companion animals, but it has to be able to stay in a cage. I used to have a rat, and that just didn't work out, any ideas?
Thanks (:
I've owned lots of animals .. And next to dogs and cats, rats have been the BEST companion animals I've ever had. Having two, a proper sized cage, and being armed with plenty of knowledge prior to getting them helps out with the experience. This goes for ANY animal.
Guinea pigs also make great little companions. But honestly, even tho I've had both .. I enjoy the rats more .. Guinea pigs are great though if you just want some cute and sweet furry animals to sit around with you.

Rabbits are very affectionate animals if you manage to spend time with them and bond. They are harder work to look after than a cat or dog believe it or not so you have to make sure you are willing to look after the rabbit. They are clean animals that can stay in an indoor cage. make sure you give it plenty of exercise. they are very cute and nice to stroke and can be well behaved if you socialise with it.
pets question and answers,www.5d2d.com make sure you check out any rabbit websites which will show you how to look after them.
