i had the same problem then i got my guinea pig out for like 2-3 hours a day aswell as being out in her run some days now she's my bestest friend! i also had a rabbit she hated me, ive had 3 guineapigs all have been very friendly and have also had 3 rabbits only 1 has liked me.

guinea pigs are friendly and sweeter.

just spend more time with her. and talk to her and brush her and just get her out for like 3 hours a day.
Please give your Guinea Pig 6 more months. It's possible that she is in her "teenager" stage , so she's just a little moody. Please don't give her to a shelter just yet. She deserves to be loved, and she won't get that in a shelter. Only 1 in 3 of animals surrendered to a shelter will be adopted , do you really want your poor little guinea pig to die in a shelter, with no one loving her? Or worse, if the shelter gets too crowded then they may have to put her to sleep, wouldn't that be awful? When you got your gp you were making a promise to love and care for her for her life. You should keep to that promise. What if your parent's had you, but you cried too much, so instead of loving you anyway they hated you and decided to give you to an adoption agency, where you would be so stressed ans scared. That is what you are doing to your guinea pig. Maybe your guinea pig is living in too small a cage, do you know they need at least 7.5 square feet? Also, maybe she is a little afraid because you are so big! Let her into a big area where there isn't any electrical chords or places she could get stuck in, like a bathroom. Give her some toys and treats, and then sit down really still. When she feels ready she might come over to you and explore you. By letting her come to you, she won't be as afraid. Try to be very gentle with her. Make sure you never make loud noises or sudden movements. Please give your baby pig a chance.
Sorry but you sound harsh! Whats to say the rabbit will like you any more than the gpig? What will you do then give that up aswell. Pets arent to be taken in & ; pushed out when you feel like it! Thats why pets end up in shelters or dumped! Its not fair!!

People like you shouldnt have pets. I have a rabbit who was unwell & i spent £ 200 on the vets bills etc to make her better. Some days she can be grumpy but i know she is happy with me where i can look after her !

Pets arent here just to make you happy you know. They are here to be cared for & looked after. You got the guinea pig you should stick it out!!

How would you feel if someone did that you to ... oh well i gave her 6months & she doesnt like me ill dump her!! How old are you, you sound like your a spoilt child!! Think about the animal instead of your own selfishness. People like you make me mad! There are people that work hard in animal shelters etc doing there best to help animals that came from people like you!

You need to give her more time, guniea pigs tend to be nervous how ever long you have them, its their nature. Maybe you should of read up info etc before getting her! Rabbits get nervous too & are more likely to bite than your gpig. Rabbits can get very moody.

Guinea pigs are calmer but because small get nervous. How would you feel if you were a guinea pig & a giant kept trying to pick you up, you'd be nervous aswell! In the wild they are hunted by other animals for food. .. so maybe she thinks you are going to halm her! You need to give her more time 6months old is still very young.

I had a guniea pig & took nearly a year for him to get used to being handled. Why cant you keep her & just not pick her up - do you need to pick her up? SOme pets just dotn like being handled much . I wouldnt get rid of her its cruel. She is used to you now so stick it out!!
