One cat is a young average sized cat and fierce in temperament and the other is huge and very timid and old. The problem is neither of them are catching the mice on our property and since snakes eat mice ... I was wondering if it would be okay to bring a Garter snake into the picture?
We also live in a somewhat rural area.
The garter snake wont bother the cats unless they were small kittens. Garter snakes are pretty much harmless-they almost never bite people or anything they arnt going to eat. However the cats may try to play with the snake and will most likely kill it if the cat gets to playing with it to much
