Why does PETA force others to love animals? I mean I know they have good intentions and all and I respect what there doing, but forcing other humans to stop wearing animal fur or eating meat isn't helping animals at all IMO. I mean instead of shouting at people with posterboards saying Animal Fur is wrong etc, and handing out fliers about PETA isn't helping the animals.
Why don't they actually go out to the forest and actually physically help the animals instead of criticizing others that eat meat and wear animal fur. Anybody agree?
I disagree completely. PETA stands for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals. It's not ESLA - Everybody Should Love Animals. You don't have to LOVE an animal to treat it with respect, which is all PETA wants. I assume they do not condone wearing fur because of the process of obtaining the fur: killing an animal . If you want to wear something furry, wear something synthetic.
PETA doesn't force others to love animals. They don't criticize others for wearing fur or eating meat, they explain and tell us the disadvantages of that. For example they don't go 'Oh look Posh Becks is wearing fur how disgusting!', do they? No. They show what happens to most of the animals who are turned into fur coats.
pets question and answers,www.5d2d.com I see your point in saying why can't they go out to the forests and factory farms themselves and help the animals, but they can't. I mean, imagine you was the boss of a factory farm and had complaints that workers from PETA stormed in and stopped the machines working and rescued all the chickens. It would be nice if that could happen, but as the boss you would probably want to take it to court.
And they can't go and save every fox or mink, can they? Again, it would be great if they could but that would be difficult.
I agree with your statement, but I'm giving you the reasons why that couldn't happen.
Hope I helped:)

PETA Does a lot of great work for animal welfare thru exposure, and yes sometimes extreme tactics. It's well organized right up there with the anti-smoking campaign or MADD. It's just no one wants to hear their message. We all want cheap meat, and too much of it. If you go to their website you'll see that they do go in the "field" take undercover video and apply pressure for change. I watched a clip of a Factory Pig Farm and haven't eaten meat since. As far as wearing fur goes I believe if you knew the conditions these animals live in prior to being skinned you'd understand why faux fur is better.
PETA may have been started with good intentions .. But their intentions in todays society, are FAR from good.

Bombing medical clinics that test on animals is wrong.
Ignoring the benefits of medical testing on animals to save future human and animal lives, is wrong.
Telling children their parents are murderers is wrong.
Killing thousands upon thousands of healthy adoptable animals, because they think they're better off dead rather than in the hands of responsible owners ...
IS WRONG.
PETA actually kills more animals than any other organization. They believe that these domesticated animals are better off dead, free in the wild to be abused, starved, or hit by cars .. Is better than giving them to responsible and loving owners.
This is the main website that prooves my points:
http://petakillsanimals.com/ But there are hundreds of others out there to back these facts up, as well.
They force people? Did someone from PETA come to your house and put a gun to your head and make you like animals i think not
