His name is Zephen and he is about a year and a half old to two years old. He is very active and loves to play. I'm selling him because with my school work and life's drama, I don't have enough time to really let him out. I can tell he is unhappy and it breaks my heart that I can't give him what he wants. Zephen will come with his tug-of-war toy, deodorizing body spray, deodorizing water spray, his bed, hammock, his couch, and his cage toy. He uses Fresh Step cat litter and eats kitten food. Does anyone know someone who would be willing to buy him?
You can contact either the American Ferret Association, a local ferret rescue group , or your animal shelter and tell them about your situation. They may know of someone who wants a ferret or put word out that there is a ferret looking for a new home.
You can also look online for a ferret forum or group and put word out that you have a ferret. To ensure that he goes to a good home, maybe only charge someone for the cage and accessories and not the ferret? I personally would just give away any animal that I couldn't have anymore instead of asking someone to buy them. Good luck, it's sad that you have to give away your ferret but if sounds like you're doing the right thing.
DEPENDING ON YOUR LOCATION , THERE ARE MANY "RADIO" SHOWS THAT CAN ADVERTISE WHAT YOUR SELLING FOR A SMALL FEE. ALSO, I personally know if you want to just give him away, you can take him to a local pet smart or pet co. I had to take mine there due to growing personal responsibility and no longer having the time to take care of him. yes it breaks your heart, but your doing the best thing for your pet.

You wouldn 't be getting any money for him, but if you have a local petco, or a petsmart, they will normally take them in and adopt them out. I have had a lot of ferrets, and the most I have had at once was 6 . I had gotten three of them by adopting them from a local petco. Also, you could try the pennysaver. This is a website and a paper where you can post pictures, information about Zephen as well as yourself and the price that you want. Also, you will need to let people know wether or not he has gotten his shots, because in certain places, like Maryland, he needs a rabies shot, and prefferebly a distemper shot. And alos sometimes proof of these shots is wanted as well.
