My tarantula has just molted. How long should I wait before

I have an avicularia Avicularia (common pink-toe tarantula) that has just molted. Being a tree-dweller he sealed himself in his web in the upper corner of his habitat for the molt. I was actually worried he wouldn't have enough room , but he seems to have successfully survived the molt. However, now his quarters are especially cramped with the old skeleton still being in there. I know that tarantulas are especially delicate and more easily disturbed immediately after a molt so I am nervous for his sake to try and remove it. Is it an issue to leave him in the cramped space? How long should I give him before I attempt to remove the old exoskeleton?
http://books.google.com/books ? id=rIVAkA3 ... According to this link, you should wait until the T starts accepting food again or even two weeks. So I'd suggest leaving the exoskeleton alone and give the new one a chance to harden off.
Wait at laest 1 day to remove it. Love ziva
