I will never buy animals from a puppy mill or any other inhumane animal shelter. I might not even have dogs, maybe just small things like rodents, reptiles, birds and fish. But where can I get those (legally)?
Try your local rescue group and give them some space in yours stores. Pet mills aren't just for dogs; other animals are similarly exploited. Birds especially, due to their intelligence and long lifespan suffer silently in horrible places. Imagine mass productions of living creatures .
