I am interested in fostering a dog in the Kansas City area. I have done some searches online but only found 2 shelters Wayside Waifs and the Humane Society) that talk about foster programs. These two have large facilities and usually foster pets with disabilities only. I am interested in fostering a non disabled dog for a Shelter that is not run out of a facility. Does anyone know good ones in the area that are run by foster only.
look for no kill shelters. they often let adoptable dogs be fostered out. you can look within a 15 mile radius from your place. or be a pet sitter for people going on vacation.
