Golden retriever + small backyard?
The backyard is all made of brick so there is no grass. The patio is about 5m by 5m. There's also some pathways. There is also an enclosed pool which is fairly large. The front yard is open so no dog can go there.

If my family was to get a golden retriever, could it 'live' in this environment? The dog would be allowed inside. Also, I go to school, but walking the dog everyday after school wouldn't really be a problem for me. Plus we have 3 other people living in the house that can walk it and take care of it.

Do you think it could live here?
I don't think it would be a good idea.
Unless your willing to walk it ten times more then you would with a normal backyard, because after all, it needs to go to the washroom somehow. Also, how would you play catch with it, or things like that? You'd have to train it well, then use a dog park very often. Dogs get a lot of their exercise in backyards, so you'll need to replace it with walks.. not fun in the winter!
you'd have to walk the dog a LOT more than once or twice a day. that's way to small of a yard no grass? how do you expect the dog to do his/her Business.
