Hello! Thanks for taking the time to read my question! I am looking for a small pet that is easy for my to carry around and that is aa lovable/interactive pet. Something sort of like a sugar glider but i do not want a nocturnal pet, unfortunately sugar gliders are nocturnal. Suggestions please=) Thanks you!

Yes, most small mammals are nocturnal because they are prey and go to seek their food when predators are less active. Rats are very friendly, active, and intelligent, as are mice. Guinea pigs do not like to be carried around, and will pee or poo on you too.

umm you can train them to to wake up at like 6 but not completely make them not nocturnal ... they just wake up earlier in the day ... also if its a noise issue then just take out the loud toys ... sadly most small animals are nocturnal that are similar to a sugar glider .. in fact probably more than% 50 of small pets are nocturnal. but guinea pig. i cant think of anything lol sorry
