How do I convince my parents to let me get a rabbit?
Ok. So, I've been contemplating joining 4-H, which my parents have no problem with, but we also live in a gated community, which means that city farm permits don't necessarily apply. My mother actually said that the only animal I could possibly get would be a rabbit (but I think she just meant legally, not that I could.) She also had a lovely pet bunny when she was my age, whom she still loves and misses. I am a very responsible pet owner, though I'm only 15. I started with a hamster at 7, that my mom ended up mostly caring for. Then at 13, I came home with a goldfish from a fair (who is still alive and well to this day,) and early this year, I got another hamster. I also have two other fish tanks with 3 ADFs, bettas, and such. They're all super healthy, and are pretty spoiled, mostly on my tab. The point is, I'm more than capable of taking care of a rabbit, and will adopt from a shelter (I've already fallen in love with a little neutered male lop). I've also done tons of research, and will do much more to be sure I'm prepared. I know the vet we take the dogs to is excellent, and will see "exotic" animals as well . Also, as I said, I will be joining 4-H and will be learning a lot about rabbit care there, as well as showing him. What do I do?

Hi,
pets question and answers,www.5d2d.com
Well, you have certainly done some research. Although all the research, you have to have the time, space and money for a rabbit, you might want an indoor rabbit, which means that your rabbit lives inside, it is a lot easier and cheaper to have an indoor rabbit than an outdoor, if you get an outdoor rabbit you have to think about, the hutch, the run , the bedding's for the hutch. Now to convince your mum, mm ........ you need to earn some money, maybe say to your mum that you have enough money to buy a rabbit, and you are willing to take care and are more responsible to look after the rabbit. That is what i did with my parents, and they saw that i was more responsible. So they said yes. Give it a try.
Good luck

rabbits are very messy, cause of the cage you have to have, but you sound like you would be a good care taker, if she wont let you get it, tell her you are gonna have me come over for diner, i have long hair and tattoos
I gave you my opinion on your first question by all means you sound ready and responsible enough I say go for it

tell them you will pay for everything, and take care of it and they wont have to do anything.
