Ok so im looking for a 16 'english saddle. I'm just not sure what i want i like the herny de rivels and pessoas but im thinking most your paying for the name. I also like the colliegates. Im not looking to spend a fortune on a saddle!!
Then look online. lol. But I'll say one thing ... in my opinion you are not paying for the name with the Pessoas. They really are that nice! I love riding in them ... I always feel like I ride better. I don't own one because I can't afford it. But I think Colliegates are second best and cheaper. I tried out a few of those before I bought my Dover Circuit.
you always have a 10 day trial (and if the tack shop does not offer one, i'd find a new tack shop). mainly what you pay for is the quality of leather. but prices also go up for things like interchangeable trees (which are really bad for your horses back because they bend) and other unnecessary add-ons.
So what exactly are you asking? I would go to ebay. You can get a nice and broken in saddle that is in great quality for cheap. Also other horse sites like equine.com or horseclicks.com.
