What is your fav breed of horse .... why?

I am just curious and bored so ya ...... might as well answer it get you 2 points .... lol

IRISH COB! - Beautiful creatures, so trusting yet so full of character, and SO HUGABLE! I used to own one and miss her dearly, no horse could EVER replace my Irish cob: ')
I love Arabians, mostly because they're the only breed I've ridden (I ride at a mostly-Arabian barn), and they're beautiful, graceful, have stamina, and you can do so much with them. I especially love the way they carry their heads and tails high confidently, like they know they're amazing. I hate it when people say that they're hyper and 'hot', but nearly every Arabian at my barn is calm, sweet, and easy to handle .

My second favorite is a Quarter Horse, because they always look so relaxed and put together in reining and WP, and even English.
Shagya ... related to Arabian but a separate breed.

All the elegance and personality and endurance of the Arabian, but larger and sturdier and calmer and more of a sport horse. I have had Arabs for years, but now I wouldn't take for my Shagyas! The older one can do most anything. .. basic dressage (she is still young and will progress), jumping, trail riding, soon driving with style. Her younger sister is a natural for dressage and is wonderful so far with ground work, and I would put her natural gaits up against almost any warmblood. Oh yes, did I mention that most European warmbloods have some Shagya blood? pets question and answers,www.5d2d.com

They are the best ever, but still quite rare in North America ... only about 250 purebred and even fewer registered half-breeds.
Appaloosa - I have owned two appaloosas in my life and they have been the best horses you could ask for. One was an appaloosa pony which I had when I was younger, and my other one, my last one, a 15.3hh 6yo appaloosa (few spot - extremely, he had 3 spots on his fur!). They were the best horses ever, brilliant with a saddle on and brilliant without. On my 15.3hh we won horse bonding shows, they are horses with amazing personallity. I don't like horses that will love anybody, I like horses you have to build a bond with , I also hate push-button horses. May they rest in peace.
thoroughbred, warmblood, paint, quarter. i lovee tb's b/c they are just so magnificent and so are warmbloods and most can jump the moon, and tb's commonly come in dark colors such as bays and blacks and i love darker colors and the way they are built so tall and long legged, just breath taking:) i love paints and quarters b/c they are usually sane dependable horses that tend to come in the perfect heights and sizes, and they can usually do anything they are very multi-disciplined built (usually) and paint just have the prettiest colors and i love it when they have gorgeous blue eyes:)
Pinto or a Paint horse because they come in a variety of colours and they are so out there and different.

Or my second chose would be an Arabian because they run so beautifully with grace, they have a lovely face and i like how there tail arches when they run.

Horses are great.
Paint. I just like the way they look I'm not gonna lie;) But I also like how they are versatile ... depending on the horse they make good horses for people that like to ride english and western. Plus all the Paints I've met I've kind of hit it off with. I know that sounds crazy but I think it was just meant to be.

I love Arabians too ... to me they are like unicorns out of a fairytale but in real life. There is this one at the barn I work at. I love watching her run to the gate when I bring her in everyday, with her tail up and her nose in the air. So spirited and beautiful.

Third I like Gypsy Vanners. It's the Paint look. Haha. Plus who wouldn't they're beautiful horses.

And I also have a thing for Fjords. I know, random. I've never met one but it would make me really happy to see one in real life. I just think they're awesome! pets question and answers,www.5d2d.com

Well that was more like 4 favorites. Oh well.
I like saddlebreds-because i use to ride this really great saddlebred, i was the only one who rode him because he would only behave for me, but then my instructor sold him with out telling any of the students that she was. i also like how they are high stepping, and graceful

i also like trakehners because i have one and she is a bratty old mare, but she's got alot of spirit and heart, and we just connected.

i also like national show horses because they are beautful horses and they are grace full, and they are awesome preformes. hope this helps?
So many breeds, so little time! I've had quite a lot of different breeds and I can honestly say that I loved them all. They each have their own thing going for them! My personal favorites have been the very big (clydes and belgians) and very small (welsh ponies and pony cross) ones.
my most favorite horse in the whole world is a Palmino Quarter horse. That is the horse that i have she is soooo pretty=)

They are so unique and quirky. I could write a book about why I love them, but for now i'd just recommend looking them up:) They're fascinating.
