What are those little things on some stirrups?

not stirrup leathers, this is actually on some stirrups. not the white bottom part, but one of my saddles has these elastic things on one side of it. its like black elastic on one side of a stirrup .. i dont know how to explain it better but i just want to know what its called and if you can buy them seperately or in pairs without stirrups because one of mine broke. thanks!
They're called peacock stirrups and those rubber bands are replaceable.

You have peacock (AKA Safety) stirrups. The elastic thing on the side is essentially a rubber band which gives way (comes off) when you fall that way you don't get dragged, hence why it should always be on the outside. You can buy spares online or in any tack/riding store near your house.

Im not sure what they are called but yes you can buy them separately without buying a whole new stirrup. I usually use a hair tie until i can get to the store to buy new ones. They are so annoying and are always falling off or breaking. But they are much more safe because they pop right off if you get your foot caught so you don't get dragged around the arena behind your horse .
You have peacock stirrups. You need to buy replacement rubber bands for peacock stirrups. They come in pairs, and are only a dollar or two. You can also buy replacements for the leather tabs.
There called peacock stirrups . The point of the rubber thing is so it will snap off if you fall off and your foot gets caught in the stirrup. You can replace just the rubber part.
They are called peacoks you can get them seperatly and in funky colors too!
Im sorry i have no idea what your talking about!
An error that the sweatshop slaves made. Geez, those underpaid labourers are always screwing up!
