What does it mean when a horse crows?
EDIT: Crow hopping is like a mini buck, or what they do when they are going to buck. If your horse does this you should get their head up, horses need their head down to buck. Sometimes when they are frisky or cheeky they will do this too, or caught up in the moment. Also, they do it when they're inbalanced.
It means he is testing you and he will get better at it if you do not let know in no uncertain terms that you will not permit it.
Tuff up get a crop and when he starts to do it take one rein and bring his head around and whack him on the out side hip and keep him spinning till he is tired and thes make him stop and stand and then ride him off at a walk.
