I have been feeding my standardbred everyday through the cold winter. Now the weather is allot warmer would it b ok to reduce his feed to once every other day or is this too drastic. Hes in good condition and if anything could do with losing just a bit, typical winter weight though I would say. He is in a 3 acre field with plenty of grass and has 24hr access to this. Does he still need the hard feed? Thanks for your answers. ?

You can cut down his feed he will be fine but i wouldnt feed him every other day just cut bac what you give him now i use to give my boys 3 qts twice a day now they get 1qt twice a day . Good luck.
