he has just turned 7month old, his mother was around 14'2 but i am unsure of the dad.
i know its hard to guess as it depends on the horse itself and genetics but its just a guess i want.
he is 12'1 at the moment

Measure from the bottom of the knee to the hairline on the hoof. However many inches it is, is how many hands it accurate to about two inches. It has worked for every one of my foals.
This isn't always a totally reliable rule but however many inches the cannon bone measures, that's the number of hands the horse will be. I've found that to be true with a lot of horses, or pretty darn close.
well, if he's 12.1 hh now, he'll probobaly be around 15 hh. i could be wrong, but hope it helped!
