What is the weirdest thing you have found in your horses pasture? Or what is the weirdest thing your horse has done in the pasture?
Me, every time I take the twine off a bale, I wrap it around the fence post '. So my two mares always take the string off and go around playing with it: P They have never eaten or swallowed them thankfully.=] Weirdest thing I've found .... I found fireworks and golf-balls, and one time a shirt. Oo
Weirdest item found: an arrow sticking up. Weirdest look on her face, the neighbor when I showed up at the door.
Weirdest thing horse did: well actually a pony. Ponies do do the weirdest things. The trough was low on water but had 15 gal or so. He tipped over the trough and then stood on top of it like he was a goat flipping his head up and down like "oh yeah, I did it, can't touch this, I'm cool, you know it, uh hu, you love me". Or was it "more water, the sahara, we ' re thirsty, you moron ...."
The weirdest thing I've found in the pasture is a whole bunch of trash from my trashy neighbors. They have a roll-off dumpster for their business but also put the household trash in it. The wind blows in my direction so after a windy winter, I walked around and collected a whole bunch of trash. I put it all in their garage. These neighbors' ducks also wind up in my pasture sometimes.

The weirdest thing one of my horses does is straddle a skinny stump so that it pokes into his stomach and makes him "suck it in". Maybe it helps with digestion, who knows, but he does it every day.
The weirdest thing that ever happened was when one horse came in with a hole in his head, right in the middle of his forehead. The bone was broken and sideways in the hole, and it was about the size of my finger tip. He couldn 't care less. I got him some antibiotics just in case, and now he just has a tiny dent there. I have no idea how he managed to get a hole in his head in the first place.

2 bell boots and 3 splints, and he ripped the velcro off of one of the bell boots.
I also had a mini excavation last winter, and found my super expensive fleece-lined leather show boots in mint condition ... but frozen in an ice chunk. After my horse destroyed about 4 pairs of boots, I resorted to torturing him with ugly boots .. so he has 1 pink sparkly bell boot, 1 orange bell boot, 1 leather and fleece eskadron boot, 1 pink woof wear boot, 1 zebra-print polo wrap, and 1 $ 2 lime green `I-have-no-idea -what-brand-it-is-boot `. Also, he` sa not-so-attractive appy, and he looks crazy in his mix-n-match boots.

and weirdest thing my horse has done was lost 5 boots in 5 minutes.
We have a shelter outside for the horses, and it is metal on the outside, but has wood framing on the inside. My horse has eaten almost ALL the wood framing on the house. We have put No Chew and ever Tabasco Sauce and she still continues to eat it .... She is a 21 year old National Show Horse who apparently gets very bored with her donkey and 2 horse friends ... .
I found a beer bottle in my horse's pasture.
It wasn't even on the side of it, it was somewhere near the middle of the pasture. So someone was IN my horse's pasture without my knowledge. With a beer bottle.
I used to keep him at my school (equestrian school), and you can be assured that all hell broke loose with the director of equestrian xD
It was scary though.
My friends horse was grazing in the field when he started to roll and got him leg caught in the fence! He was lame for about 2 weeks and we walked him every day in the ring to get used to this plant they put in. he was scared of it so when we passed we had to make sure he wouldn't hurt him hoove. hes better now.
Actually, where my house is now use to be an illegal dumping site. I have found all sorts of garbage in the pasture. But, the weirdest thing I found would have the be this old piggy bank, it had $ 10 in it.

In the winter when its really cold my horse will go up to the roof and break off ice-cicles and eat them like they're candy. and if he cant get one he'll call for me or run up to me and nudge me towards it. umm .. the weirdest thing i have found was a horse leg bone out in the paddock.
Woke up one morning after a rainstorm & found a dead Opossum holding the electric fence wire with his fingers. Gross!
I've also found juice boxes, a spare tire, even found a kitten that still lives with me!

Not very weird but after the snow melted last winter I found a lead rope stuck in the ground. To this day I can't get it out of the ground.
Well one time my horse was just standing there eating and he spooked and pulled a shoe while standing still ... he is a bit off a goof ball ...
