I have a question!! Plz help!?

i keep bellboots on my horse all day everyday and they have rubbed her. do u think that they are to biG?! she is 16.1 and i got her a large. so do u think they rubbed her because they are to big or to small on her?! Thank You!!!:)
We can't exactly tell without seeing them, but if she's not very chunky then they're probably too large on her. But it might also depend on the type of bell boots you're using? If you're using those stupid plastic 'petal' ones (can't remember they're proper name, but they clack about a lot lol!) then that's probably what's done it. She also might have got mud or dirt around them and that's what's caused them to rub, especially if she's got them on 24/7. Get her some properly fitting rubber ones and make sure you wash around and check them every day.
Why do you have them on all day every day - the only reason would be if she constantly overreaches badly, otherwise she'll be much better without them on when turned out. They will have rubbed due to being rubber and in a spot where they will move constantly even if they fit. pets question and answers,www.5d2d.com

To correctly fit they should sit comfortably around the pastern with you being able to fit a finger inbetween the boot and the horse. Even correctly fitted boots will rub if worn constantly.
What are they? Are tey the rubber with Velcro or the rubber slip on? Or are they not rubber? As I wouldn't leave bellboots on a horse if they are not rubber as they will rub. If they are rubber they shouldn't rub I they are the right size.
you dont need to leave them on her all the time, if u think its absolutly nessecary to keep boots on her get some cloth ones, they won't rub as much as bell boots, like get some sport boots or something.
You 're not supposed to leave them on all the time, only when riding, and even then, I would only put them on when doing something like barrels or jumping. Take them off!
Can't you tell if they are too small or big? I would think if they are rubbing her raw they'd be too small.
leave them off they shouldnt be on all the time
