so im getting my pony clipped?

this is my first time getting one of mine clipped [full body maybe not the head] its now spring for us and its getting cold at night i can only get down once a day

she's locked up in a yard [she's kinda obese>.>] in shade 24/7 the yard is a stable joined into a coral but the front of the stable is open and there's lots of annoying bugs: I its not very hot up there and my pony just loves the stable:) she think she queen of the world

so i've settled on a cotton and a neck rug

but what do i do about her legs do i wrap them?

also i have a polar fleece rug should i put that on aswell?
You don't need to put anything on her legs, just make sure you have a warm enough rugs. It would be dangerous to leave leg wraps on an unattended pony for 24 hours at a time anyway.
As long as your blanket is warm enough them you don't need to wrap the legs. If you don't need to clip the legs then don't, otherwise she should be okay. She should have somewhere to get out of the wind so she doesn't get chilled.
you shouldn't really clip their legs, the hair is ment to be left to protect the legs .. and if she outside and it might rain you will need a waterproof rug otherwise she will get damp and get rug sores from it rubbing.
Don't worry about protecting her legs, they'll be fine. I'm just worried about you not having enough rugs. I would start with the polar fleece and the cotton on her. Check her in the day and unless she's sweating underneath she'll be fine. pets question and answers,www.5d2d.com

Don't worry about people saying leave the legs they provide protection. I've always clipped mine and I get paid to professionally clip others, never heard of problems from clipping legs. Although if you're gunna leave the head I'd leave the legs or vice versa. Personally I think it looks odd to leave on OR the other (have done many clips of just body, leaving head and legs).
