My friend mentioned these riding boots tonight, and I was thinking about looking into them. They're supposedly lime green and purple, and they come with matching reins; P they're western. I can't really remember, but I think she said the brand was SMS or something? I tried google but nothing came up. Have you heard of them?
I'd say they may be the Professional Choice SMB boots, or a cheaper version.
Professionals Choice boots are absolutely brilliant! They're an American brand and used in all disciplines more commonly in western, and rodeo events.
They also make awesome saddle pads and blankets. Hope this helps:)
They're Professional's Choice SMB Elite boots. My friend has that EXACT pair!!:) But she didn't get reins with them. Weaver makes lime green and purple barrel reins though. I have hot pink and black boots for one of my horses.
This site has the Elites in Lime/Purple:

The Elite boots are shaped to specifically contour to the front and hind legs. All the other SMB boots are interchangeable between front and hind legs. There's also a size difference between an Elite (s, m, l) size and an SMB 3 (s , m, l) and an SMB II (xs, s, m, l, xl). Personally, I have a set of SMB 3, and a full set (front and hind) of Elites. I didn't see the size chart for the elites on that site.
When measuring for SMB boots, you measure the thickest part of your horse's fetlock (circumference). You also go by the hight of your horse (that's just a guestamit though). My 14.2 haflinger's fetlocks are too big for smalls, so he fits better in mediums. The same goes for my appaloosa (16 hh). I tried the medium Elite's on him and they were WAY to small on his back legs.I actually like the way the SMB 3's fit on him more than the Elites. So it really depends on your horse's leg shape. Elite's cost about $ 80 for front boots and $ 86 for hind boots. You can get them in a value pack for $ 140. The disadvantage of the value pack is that they're all one size, just a front and hind set.
pets question and answers,www.5d2d.com SMB Elite Sizing:
Small: 14-15hh
Front boot: up to 9.5 inches (circumference)
Rear boot: up to 10.5 inches
Medium: 15-16.2hh
Front boot: up to 10.5 inches
Rear boot: up to 11.5 inches
Large: 16.2-17.2hh
Front boot: up to 11.5 inches
Rear boot: up to 12.5 inches
SMB 3 [while not as many cool colors, they are cheaper (around $ 70 a pair, or $ 116 for a full set) and fit one of my horses better. There's also truly only a TINY difference between Elites and SMB3's other than color choices. ]
Small (13-14.3hh): up to 10.5 inches
Medium (15-15.3): up to 12.25 inches
Large (16-16.3): up to 12.75 inches
I don't like the suspensory strap on the SMB II's. It wears out really fast.
And when in doubt, get the next size up! If the Elites are too small, drop down to the slightly less fitted SMB 3's. Enjoy your boots! I love mine!:)
