How long can I expect my pony to live for?

I have a shetland x exmoor pony and was just wondering at what age they live till. I also have a standardbred and am hoping they live for the same amount of time as they are the same age. Many thanks
The average lifespan of horses and ponies is around 25-30 years old. However, your pony could live for a lot longer, and some will live for less time. It depends on the pony and the health of the pony. It is quite unlikely both your horses will live to be the same age, as there are lots of different factors that could cause earlier or later death. But just enjoy your horses and don't worry about how long they'll live for (: x
Ponies live longer than horses, I'm afraid to say. Horses can live up to around 35 years, while ponies can live up to around 40 years. Obviously, horses and ponies live longer in better conditions.
i no a shetland whos 40 and still gallops about as if its 5 XD
