I am getting ready for my first western show, and i dont know good colors {color] for her. Can you guys please help? I really like bright neon colors, and i dislike pink very much.

Here's a discription of her: shes a tri-color paint mare. She is lovable and i love her very much. She has brown eyes, and is sweet. Heres a picture of her::

Her Show Name Is: Sacred Moon

Her Barn Name Is: Moonie

I ride her English and western, but this is gonna be my first western Show.
What color (s) will you be wearing? Bays are very versatile in terms of what colors look good on them, so pick whatever colors you look good in. If you are young, you can get away with very bright or neon colors, if you are over 18 I would not do neon. Whatever you are wearing, put a pad on her that matches or compliments your outfit.
She's an adorable horse if I do say so myself!

For a western show, brightly colored saddles are not pretty to look at-in my opinion. But brightly colored halters with matching blankets are a nice touch. Like my stud is a sorrel QH from head to tail-tip, and his colors are orange and brown. I have a dark leather saddle on him, bith an orange blanket, and an orange halter for him.

For your mare, I would suggest a light tan leather colored saddle, with maybe a bright blue off color. Like the blanket underneath, and the halter when/if you show in a haltering class. I think light horses look really good in dark colors and vice versa, but there are some exceptions. Like your mare, because she has more dark showing when a saddle is on, she will/would look better in a lightly colored leather saddle.
